The children and teens referred for residential care at Circle C have all gone through difficult times. Child welfare personnel have recommended that it is in their best interest to live somewhere other than at home. Kids coming from a local shelter or from other residential care facilities must adjust to living in a different setting, and have a variety of needs that our programs must address.

The young adults entering the "R U Ready?" Program have many needs for hands-on guidance and support as they make the difficult transition to adulthood without the "safety net” of a supportive family. Circle C’s challenge is to engage each one, build a positive relationship, and offer new hope, direction, and skills needed to overcome issues that have brought them into our care.
